When 1st objective completed couldn’t continue

First of all, I had to go to youtube game walk to learn I had to click on the crown (there was no any indication like “feathers”). Then when I completed the very 1st objective and brought the baby, NOTHING HAPPENED(!) as in a youtube video game walk through: the “OBJECTIVE COMPLETED” notice was supposed to pop-up, the King was supposed to talk to me etc…I am using OS X Yosemite, 15’’. Otherwise the graphics/sounds were great.
